| Sariah Is 9 Months Old! |
Sariah is 9 months old today! Sorry to my family for not sending the pictures out today. I was gone all day selling back my husbands textbooks for him, taking dinner to a friend who is having her baby tomorrow and a bunch of other stuff! I will try and get that done tonight while we are packing. We are taking off for Salt Lake tomorrow and then flying to Tennessee on thursday which also happens to be my 2nd anniversary!
Everyone will be happy to know that we did get our gas heating turned on and then we moved Sariah's crib into her own room. It was so nice for my husband and I to be able to talk last night without having to worry about waking Sariah up, she is such a light sleeper now!
Today is also my brother's 21st birthday, Happy Birthday Craig! |

| Scholarships |
A few months ago my husband signed up for this website that lists tons of scholarships available. Just last week he looked on his school account and noticed that he had recieved a $2,000 scholarship from one of the scholarships he applied for from this site.
Need money for college? Use FastWeb's free scholarship search to find information on more than 1.3 Million scholarships!
The site is well organized and makes it so much easier to find scholarships applicable to you. This scholarship will really help us out a lot and allow for my husband to pay for his grad school test or Dental admission test. He still hasn't decided which one he's going to do. |

| Happy Birthday! |
It is my husband's 25th birthday today. I made him a card that listed 25 reasons to celebrate him and 2 books that I got at the BYU Idaho book sale. One is about Roman History and the other is biography of a founding father. He loves books like that!
We are having our church Christmas party tonight so I'll make him a special dinner and pudding pie another night. |

| Chattanooga is Home |
Well it is for my husband and his family. I'm sure they will be interested in this blog: Chattanooga is home. The author keeps the readers up to date on whats going on in Chattanooga, TN and fun things to do there.
When I visited Chattanooga I wasn't there for very long but I did go to the Aquarium. I especially loved the seahorse exhibition.
I'm excited to visit again this christmas! |

| Money Smart Moms |
Everyone loves to learn of ways to save money and be smart with your money. Especially stay at home moms.
My friend Deb has a blog titled Money Smart Moms. This is a fairly new blog but I'm excited to go back and read some posts on money smart advice.
I enjoyed the post about slouching. That is something I'm really bad at, I need to do a better job at sitting straight. Especially with being pregnant, in a few months the extra weight on my stomach will be hard enough on my back. |

| Plain Book of Homeschooling |
Since I want to homeschool Sariah when she gets a little older, I'm always on the lookout for good homeschooling sites.
The Plain Book of Homeschooling is about homeschooling from a Christian viewpoint which I think is great because talking about Christianity in schools seems to be so evil now.
Another great thing is that this blog helps to promote a charity called "Heifer International" that helps families in poverty. The owner of this blog has a book titled: "The Plain Book of Homeschooling" that she sells on her blog for $15 and she will donate $5 of each sale to Heifer International. |

| Get a Free Phone With A T-Mobile Plan |
I have a T-Mobile plan and I love it. It was the cheapest we could find and they also have a really good coverage area. We can call anywere in the USA and there are no roaming charges for anywhere in the US. Of course I would love it if we could have free calls to Canada as well, so I can talk to my family more.
You can get a free to-go phone with any t-mobile plan. Just go to dealking.com for more information.

| The Big News! |
Well I have posted on here how I've been feeling sick and tired well now it is time for my big announcement - I am pregnant! I was worried about the money as we haven't finished paying off Sariah's Delivery but we will have that paid off this month. We have already had a few blessings recently that will help us out.
It is a little overwhelming knowing that I will have two young babies to look after. I'm not quite sure on the due date as I am still nursing Sariah, probably between June 25 - July 16th. So Sariah will be about 15 months. I hope that Sariah and her little brother or sister will become really good friends.
If anyone else has children close in age, any advice would be appreciated! |

| You Are My Sunshine *Be prepared for tears* |
Someone posted this on a forum that I visit. I just to beautiful not to share. Like any good mother, when Karen found out that another baby was on the way, she did what she could to help her 3-year-old son, Michael, prepare for a new sibling. They found out that the new baby was going be a girl, and day after day, night after night, Michael sang to his sister in mommy's tummy. He was building a bond of love with his little sister before he even met her.
The pregnancy progressed normally for Karen, an active member of the Panther Creek United Methodist Church in Morristown, Tennessee. In time, the labor pains came. Soon it was every five minutes, every three, every minute. But serious complications arose during delivery and Karen found herself in hours of labor. Would a C-section be required? Finally, after a long struggle, Michael's little sister was born. But she was in very serious condition. With a siren howling in the night, the ambulance rushed the infant to the neonatal intensive care unit at St. Mary's Hospital, Knoxville, Tennessee.
The days inched by. The little girl got worse. The pediatrician had to tell the parents there is very little hope. Be prepared for the worst. Karen and her husband contacted a local cemetery about a burial plot. They had fixed up a special room in their house for their new baby but now they found themselves having to plan for a funeral. Michael, however, kept begging his parents to let him see his sister. I want to sing to her, he kept saying. Week two in intensive care looked as if a funeral would come before the week was over. Michael kept nagging about singing to his sister, but kids are never allowed in Intensive Care. Karen decided to take Michael whether they liked it or not. If he didn't see his sister right then, he may never see her alive. She dressed him in an oversized scrub suit and marched him into ICU. He looked like a walking laundry basket.
The head nurse recognized him as a child and bellowed, "Get that kid out of here now. No children are allowed." The mother rose up strong, and the usually mild-mannered lady glared steel-eyed right into the head nurse's face, her lips a firm line. "He is not leaving until he sings to his sister" she stated. Then Karen towed Michael to his sister's bedside. He gazed at the tiny infant losing the battle to live. After a moment, he began to sing. In the pure-hearted voice of a 3-year-old, Michael sang: "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are gray." instantly the baby girl seemed to respond. The pulse rate began to calm down and become steady. "Keep on singing, Michael," encouraged Karen with tears in her eyes. "You never know, dear, how much I love you, please don't take my sunshine away." As Michael sang to his sister, the baby's ragged, strained breathing became as smooth as a kitten's purr. "Keep on singing, sweetheart." "The other night, dear, as I lay sleeping, I dreamed I held you in my arms". Michael's little sister began to relax as rest, healing rest, seemed to sweep over her. "Keep on singing, Michael." Tears had now conquered the face of the bossy head nurse. Karen glowed. "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. Please don't take my sunshine away..." The next day...the very next day...the little girl was well enough to go home.
Woman's Day Magazine called it The Miracle of a Brother's Song. The medical staff just called it a miracle. Karen called it a miracle of God's love. |

| Online Dictionary |
When my husband and I have some free time we like to play board games. We have found some great deals for games at "The D.I" (Deseret Industries Thrift Store). We got Battle Ship for 25 cents and it was only missing one ship. We also got Up Words for a dollar!
When we play Up Words we use an online dictionary when we need to challenge if someone's word is a real word. I prefer online dictionaries as it has more words than my hard cover dictionary, it's easier to look the words up and when the game starts getting harder we can cheat a little and look up a few of our letters and it will show all the words with those letters.
I really like allwords dictionary search abilities as there are a variety of searh options. For example you can do exact match, words starting with " ", words ending with " ", and my favourite for cheating - Words containing " ".
Allwords dictionary isn't just a typical online dictionary. Some unique things about Allwords dictionary are that they have resources to help you learn a foreign language and translation services. You can also do crossword puzzles and play other word games like boggle, hangman and scrabble. |

| Free Christmas Video |
| Christmas has been so commercialized and the true meaning of christmas isn't as prevalent as it should be. One of my favorite Christmas videos is "Joy To The World" which focuses on the birth of Christ. A wonderful video for your family, or a gift for someone! It was produced by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and most of the materials produced by them are free. You can get your free copy here. |

| Mail Drops |
I came across this interesting website, it's a directory of Mail Drops. I don't really have any use for mail drops but those who are concerned about privacy or people who are away from their homes a lot. It is very annoying when you go on vacation and a package you recieved got sent back to the sender because you didn't pick it up within a week. This happened with one of our wedding gifts.
Mail Drops are in my opinion better than PO boxes as a lot of corporations, banks etc... that don't accept P.O. Boxes will accept "Mail Drop" Addresses.
Until I went to this website the only mail drop service I had heard of was Mail Boxes etc. because I had a friend that worked for them. There are actually many companies that do this kind of service.
